SABDES Superyacht Design think 'outside of the box', our Yacht designs have been acclaimed as being at the forefront of technical innovation and styling, and realising each of our clients spirit and vision.

Our activities involve the conceptualisation, exterior styling, interior arrangement, and development of new Yacht designs tailored to suit our clients individual needs. We also develop Custom and Semi-custom Yachts based around Builders engineered platforms. The builders yacht designs being previewed on our website include designs produced for ICON Yachts of the Netherlands, Bering Yachts of the USA, CMC Yachts of China, Bilgin Yachts of Turkey, and SEAWING of Australia.  SABDES has built up a solid knowledge of Yacht Design that has evolved from working on many new vessel designs, Yacht conversions, Naval projects (the latter for BAE Systems, Tenix Shipbuilding and Surface Ships UK) and newbuild projects from seven metres up to two hundred and thirty metres long. Our knowledge and experience of Industrial Design, Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding is used to its maximum to create designs that are current, innovative, and market leading.

  

 

SABDES is active in the development of all sizes of Yachts, sail or power; Luxury boats and Yachts 12m to 24m (40'-80'), Large yachts and Superyachts 24m-50m (80'-165') and Superyachts to Megayachts 50m -183m (165'-600'). Our Principal Designer, Scott Blee, has had an active and eclectic marine design background spanning 25 years including working on large Naval Ship designs up to 230m, and understands the intimacy in working the scale of such size vessels. 

SABDES are passionate about Yacht design and also for the environment and our health. We are constantly researching into new technologies that reduce the usage of fossil fuels, and are pro-active in developing designs that are efficient and will minimise their impact on the planet. We are also increasing our interest and knowledge in creating designs that specify using only healthy materials that dont off-gas and pollute indoor air. We have been doing real world research confirming that the indoors environment should be as fundamental to good yacht design as seakindliness. And after all, yachts are for people to inhabit!
